Based on the foundation given by the Introductory Level the material of the Ongoing Classes invites further exploration of increasingly sophisticated imagery and our understanding of the principles that underlie the work.
Skinner Releasing technique cultivates spontaneous movement through by guided poetic imagery, supported by music and sound, enables a creative exploration of technical movement principles such as multi-directional alignment, suppleness, suspension, economy and autonomy. As participants let go of habitual holding patterns, they are supported to generate increasing sensitivity to their own physical and imaginative experience.
These Classes assume an understanding of the basic aspects of Skinner Releasing. Therefore participants should have extended experience with the Introductory level and should preferably have done all 15 Introductory classes at least twice.
